If you have not guessed by now the lovely couple in this piece is Sesshoumaru and Kagura.
Yes I do adore their chemistry. If dislike the pairing please keep it to your self. I want my art work critiqued and not ranted and flamed on because the pairing "JUST" happens to not be your cup of tea. Anyway this was all done in vector, in adobe Illustrator CS2 it took me about...lets see...hmmm a while because I kept changing the hair and eyes to fit my taste. um The main color are my fav. Red,Black and white oh yeah not to mention i did use a lil bit of photoshop to tweak it a bit, namely Kaguras hair pins(forgot what there called). Other then that everything else was done by my hands, including the ink blotch effect. Other then that I am soooooo proud of this. This will be animated in flash for my website later on tonight/this weekend. I wanna get as much work as I can done before i head back off to school/work :(.

wow, I love the design, esp the style of Kagura's flowing hair and her eyes (and her smile :D ). I also really like those pins of hers :)

wonderful vector and lovely style :) Though I don't think those splatters are all that neccessary..

THANK YOU. Oh the splatter well i kinda had in mind that i wanted the image to look as if it where done in ink like traditional vector sort of, lol. I guess they really don't need to be there :) but thank you for the lovely critique .

Well at first I drew out the image intending to try to make it look as much like Rumikos style then I traced in vector with adobe illust CS2. I was not satisfied with some of Kagura look so I altered in adding in my own styled eyes and lips. As for the ink blotching thats easy I used the pencil tool and drew random shapes and dot I duplicated a lot and varied the size. It hard to explain. Also as for the eyes coloring (ima a color nut!!) i used layers of colors from ligh to dark. Basically alot of this was done with layers upon layers. It so hard to explain lol i am horrible teacher. I am new at vector and I do everything pretty much the hard way lol

OMG the same here I hate the fact this pairing is not supported like other *cough*KagomexSess*cough* that is worshiped don't ask me why. If its the oppsite attract deal or kagome looks better then kagura*which people tend to use all the time for an excuse* thats a freaking lie. Because A. Kagome(a little more caring) and Kagura are very simlair personality wise. and B. They both look alike hence the hair style and eye color.

Well star all i can say your best luck at learning to vector is tutorials im really bad at explaining/teaching things to people. There are vector tutorail located on DA you just have to search for them hun.
